The Glass Centre

Before the artist talk today, we visited the exhibition that the National Glass Centre has on display.

I have always been interested in glass and ceramics and I'm actually thinking about making some kind of jewelery. So this trip was worth the while, not only is the work lovely but the Glass Centre itself is a hub of activity. The open glass workshops are so interesting and the giftshop with work actually made by students for sale is so quaint.

I felt like these printed surfaces look even better on my phone, I don't know if it's because the pixels make the patterns more condensed but there is definitely something different about looking at these pieces on a computer screen.
